The Trefethen Aquatics Center at Mills College ("the pool") is hiring!
Looking for a fun job where you earn while you learn valuable skills you will use for life?
The Trefethen Aquatics Center is always looking for fun, charismatic people that want to learn, teach, and work with others in a supportive, educational environment.
As an employee of the Trefethen Aquatics Center at Mills College there are three main functions:
Swim Teacher—Everyone teaches! Safety is education AND supervision. Teaching is the foundation for safety for all.
Lifeguard—Everyone lifeguards! (Cannot be on shift until you have ARC Lifeguard Training current certification.)
Pool Attendant—Work at the front desk greeting guests, promoting and distributing information on pool programs as needed and qualified.
Don't have Lifeguard Training? That's ok! We are looking for quality employees that can do all jobs at the pool, work with people well, and are eager to learn and teach. Every employee must have a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification within 3 months of hire date. We provide the class at a discount to employees. Check out the upcoming Lifeguard Training class schedule.
If you do not have a Lifeguard certification upon hire, we will begin your paid swim teacher and pool attendant training.
