Nic Van Dyke is the Assistant Director of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation (APER) at Mills College and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from working in the human services field for over a decade. Nic is responsible for Mills College athletic facilities, recreation excursions, and operations of the APER department. Prior to joining the APER team in 2010, Nic worked as a Recreational Therapist and facilitated group activities such as hiking, rock climbing, and Animal-Assisted Therapy. As an avid outdoors lover, Nic enjoys triathlon training, horseback riding, camping, and mountain biking. Nic holds a BS in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with an emphasis in Recreation Therapy from the University of Utah and is currently working toward a MA in Educational Leadership at Mills College.
