UC Merced tops Mills Soccer
Sep 8, 2013

The Mills College Soccer team came up against a tough UC Merced offense in today?s match-up. The Bobcats got on the board early, posting a goal at the three minute mark, and continuing to pressure throughout the game. Mills fought back, forcing play into Merced?s half, but the Bobcat offense proved to be too strong for the Cyclones, and they ended the day with 27 shots on goal. Tayla Muise and Ashleigh Bell split time in goal for the Cyclones, finishing the game with ten and four saves, respectively.

For UC Merced, Claudia Diaz (Dinuba, CA) led the offense finishing with four goals and an assist, while Karen Lepe (Fresno, CA) scored one goal and posted three assists.

Mills returns to action on Thursday, September 12 when they travel to Bethesda University.
