Head soccer coach, Lilia Dosalmas, has announced three new commits to the Mills soccer team. Hannah Noceda (Archbishop Murphy High School/Spanaway, WA), Andrea Osornio (Alliance Environmental High School/Los Angeles, CA), and Amanda Padilla (Rowland High School/Rowland Heights, CA) will join the team in fall of 2017 as members of the class of 2021.
Noceda has played for several club programs as well as on her high school team that finished third in the state with a record of 16-8-1. She intends to major in Biochemistry and Molecular Sciences. Orsornio comes to Mills after playing club soccer with LA Premier. A high school team captain she plans to major in Environmental Science. Padilla led her high school team to the CIF playoffs. In addition, she was a captain of her club team, FC Man United. A strong center defender, she can play anywhere on the field. She intends to major in Business Economics.
All competitive soccer players, with years of club experience, the three will join several returners from last year’s squad, adding depth and talent to the team. Dosalmas states, “I am really excited to add these three players to my roster in the fall. I think they will bring a fantastic new energy to the program and that their competitive soccer background will really elevate our team. All of us returning next season are ready to welcome them into the program and have them be a part of the Cyclone family.”
The Mills soccer team will kick-off the 2017-2018 season in August.
