Mills Swimmers Recognized by CSCAA

The Mills swim team was recognized as a Scholar All-American team by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The team finished the spring semester with a collective GPA of 3.64.  To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-American team, programs must have achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher over the spring semester. Mills swim teams have receieved the honor in the past. Last spring the Cyclones combined for the highest GPA off all teams recognized by the CSCAA.

In addition to the team honor, Mills junior Melissa Berkay was named a Scholar All-American in her first year at Mills. The CSCAA recognizes students that have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and have participated in their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships as Scholar All-Americans. Berkay qualified for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships at the Liberal Arts Championships meet and made it to the top finals in the 200-yard butterfly.
