Nina Chandrasena, Volleyball

Leadership and experience have earned senior Nina Chandrasena the Cyclone Spotlight.

The Mills College volleyball team went right to work this season, playing nine games over the past three weeks, with Chandrasena starting in each one. Despite some lineup changes, she has been steady and consistent. In the Cyclones most recent tournament, she saw action as Opposite and Middle before returning to her regular position as Outside Hitter.

Coach Peter Yee comments that, she is a go-to hitter whether in the front row or back row and often leads the team in kills and aces. This was certainly the case over the weekend as Chandrasena recorded 18 kills, an ace, and 22 digs.
